Workshop on “DevOps Engineering with Jenkins, Docker and CI/CD Workflows” was conducted on 28th March 2026 at SVGU, MCA Lab. It aimed to provide MCA Semester-2 students with practical knowledge of modern DevOps practices and tools.
The session was led by industry expert Madhavendra Kacha (TCS) and coordinated by Prof. Ashutosh Trivedi. It began with an overview of DevOps principles, highlighting collaboration and the importance of CI/CD workflows.
Students gained hands-on experience with Jenkins for automating build, test, and deployment processes. They also learned Docker for creating and managing containerized applications. A key highlight was integrating Docker with Jenkins pipelines to implement end-to-end CI/CD workflows.
Participants explored version control, automated testing, and deployment strategies. The workshop included insights into industry best practices and real-world DevOps tools. An interactive discussion and Q&A helped clarify concepts and applications.
Overall, the session enhanced technical skills and prepared students for DevOps and cloud careers.
