Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University Incubation Centre aspires to a much-needed
innovation, preincubation and incubation ecosystem for students, adding to the start-up
ecosystem of India and creating a strong innovation-driven culture in the University system.
SVGU aims to establish this Incubation Centre under the Gujarat Government Start-up
policy.
The existing pool of faculty members, researchers, research ecosystem, and common
facilities are avenues for new ideas to get nourished in the university system itself, and then
these young innovators get entrepreneurial support at the incubator to become a full-fledged
start-up.
SVGU Incubation Centre envisages two levels of support in the form of pre-incubation and
incubation. SVGU seeks to create a co-working space in terms of mentoring support, funding
support, support for trademark and patent licencing, networking, and training programme.
