Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University, through the SVGU Chess Club and Chimanbhai Patel Institute of Business Administration, successfully organized the Regional Level Chess Tournament 2026 on 7th February 2026 at the SVGU University Campus under the theme “Move Smart, Think Sharp.” The tournament was conducted with the objective of fostering strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a healthy competitive spirit among students. The event witnessed the participation of 18 leading players representing various universities across Gujarat, thereby providing a dynamic platform for inter-university academic and competitive engagement.
