A moment of profound pride and celebration unfolded at Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) Ahmedabad, during its 1st Convocation on 14 December 2025. SVGU celebrated the 1st convocation ceremony, honoring graduates’ hard work and dedication.

The graduating cohort of MBA, MCA and MA (Media & Communication) students were congratulated on this significant milestone with blessings and best wishes for embracing learning, innovating boldly, and leading with integrity as they stepped into the future. 340 postgraduate students from Management, Computer Applications and Journalism & Communication were conferred upon the degree in the first convocation.

Shri Siddharth C. Patel, President, Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University presided over the function and delivered the presidential address sharing the vision of the university for relentless pursuit of excellence and unwavering support for student growth. He said that “The Success is not only defined by what you achieve, but also by the positive impact you create around you.”

Chief Guest of the event, Shri Sujan Chinoy, Director General – Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses illuminated the stage and inspired every graduating student. He said, “The world we live in is undergoing a fundamental transformation. As you prepare to enter a world defined by rapid change, innovation and uncertainty, it is important to remember that education is not a destiny but a journey; it’s a long journey.”

Dr. Subhash Brahmbhatt, Provost, SVGU delivered welcome address and outlined “Today isn’t merely a ceremonial gathering; it marks the birth of a tradition and the foundation of a legacy."

Pujya Brahmvihari Swamiji blessed the students thorough a video message.
