A seminar on Cyber Security Awareness was successfully conducted at SVGU on the 10th of January. The event aimed to educate and inform principals and teachers of science schools from Ahmedabad's rural and urban areas about the significance of cyber security in today’s digital age. The seminar witnessed the participation of 120 attendees, comprising an enthusiastic and engaged audience.
The program was graced by Mr. R. M. Chaudhari, DEO Ahmedabad Urban, as the Guest of Honor, and Professor Digvijaysinh Rathod, a distinguished faculty member of NFSU, as the Guest Speaker.
The event commenced with a formal welcome address, followed by an introduction to the seminar’s objectives. Mr. R. M. Chaudhari highlighted the growing importance of cyber awareness in the education sector, especially for educators responsible for guiding the next generation.
Professor Digvijaysinh Rathod delivered an enlightening session on various aspects of cyber security, including:
-Identifying cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
-Best practices for safeguarding personal and institutional data.
-Understanding cyber laws and ethical practices.
-The role of educators in promoting cyber safety among students.
The interactive session provided participants with practical insights and strategies to tackle cyber risks effectively. Educators actively engaged with the speaker, posing questions and sharing their concerns, which were addressed with valuable solutions.
The seminar was a significant step toward fostering cyber security awareness among educators, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle the challenges of the digital era.
