The Book Club of Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) organised an engaging debate on the thought-provoking topic “Is Curated Content or Personality on Social Media Killing Our Authenticity?”
The debate encouraged students to express their opinions on how social media influences personal identity, self-expression, and authenticity. Participants presented different perspectives on whether carefully curated online content reflects our true personalities or creates unrealistic expectations and artificial identities.
The activity promoted critical thinking, effective communication, confidence, public speaking, and respectful discussion. It also encouraged students to reflect on the importance of being genuine and maintaining their individuality in today's digital world.
