The Institute of Science, Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University (SVGU) successfully organized a one-day workshop on “Computer Hardware and Troubleshooting” on 19th August 2026 for M.Sc. IT Semester-I students.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Mahesh Malpani, Lab Admin, with Ms. Sonia Verma as the Faculty Coordinator. The session provided students with practical exposure to computer hardware components, motherboard architecture, memory and storage devices, networking concepts, and common troubleshooting techniques.
Students participated in demonstrations covering motherboard components, different generations of RAM, storage devices, networking devices, IP addressing, and LAN cable preparation. The hands-on approach helped students connect theoretical concepts with real-world hardware and networking applications.
The workshop provided an engaging and valuable learning experience, enhancing students’ technical knowledge and practical skills in identifying hardware components and understanding basic hardware and networking troubleshooting.
